Against the backdrop of our rapidly changing world of work, universities are challenged to integrate entrepreneurship into the curricula of various academic disciplines in an attempt to familiarise students from all fields of study with an entrepreneurial literacy and toolkit. While entrepreneurship naturally aligns with business and management sciences, incorporating entrepreneurship into other fields can be daunting.
To tackle this issue, we introduce a series of focused, in-person Entrepreneurship Confluences. For our purposes, a confluence is the coming together of different academic disciplines, specifically focused on practical approaches to introducing students across diverse disciplines to entrepreneurship. These events are designed for higher education educators and provide practical strategies for introducing entrepreneurship to students across diverse disciplines. With the expert guidance of thought leaders, master educators and seasoned facilitators, participants learn to develop a practical, tailor-made take-home module during the confluences.
